Matthew Glaser

PhD Fordham University

I do research in epistemology, philosophy of mind, and the history of philosophy. I'm interested in questions about how we know ourselves, the value of knowledge, and what it means to have a "first-person" perspective on oneself. My dissertation addresses these questions drawing on Thomas Aquinas's thought in dialogue with contemporary epistemology and philosophy of mind, and I'm generally interested in what the history of philosophy has to offer for thinking about philosophical questions today.
